Kansas City 8, Grand Prairie 0

It was all Kansas City in this one as the T-Bones shutout the Grand Prairie AirHogs, 8-0. Kansas City scored two runs in the second inning and one in the sixth before blowing it open in the eighth with five more runs. T-Bones 2B Sean Henry went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. LF Justin Bass chipped with two hits, two runs and two RBI as well for Kansas City. T-Bones starting pitcher Devin Anderson was terrific en route to his first win of the season. Anderson went six innings allowing only four hits while fanning five batters.

St. Paul 6, Sioux Falls 4

DH Ole Sheldon hit one of his two home runs in the seventh inning to break a 4-4 tie and help the St. Paul Saints defeat the Sioux Falls Pheasants, 6-4. Sheldon finished 2-for-4 on the night with two runs scored and four RBI. LF Shane Costa had three hits, scored two runs and drove in one for the Saints. St. Paul reliever Bret Severtson notched the win as tossed three scoreless innings giving up a hit and two walks with a strikeout. For Sioux Falls in defeat, leadoff hitter Jonny Kaplan went 3-for-4 with a double and two home runs.

Amarillo 9, Laredo 6

The Amarillo Sox, after giving up five runs in the seventh inning to fall behind 6-3, stormed back with six runs of their own in the eighth inning to race past the Laredo Lemurs and win, 9-6. Four batters in the Sox lineup collected two hits on the night. Amarillo 2B Jake Opitz went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and a run batted in. Sox reliever Trent Lare tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball allowing only a walk to get the win while Chase Johnson finished up the game and collected this second save.

Lincoln 4, Sioux City 3

CF Mike Provencher's sacrifice fly in the ninth inning scored LF CJ Beatty from third base and lifted the Lincoln Saltdogs past the Sioux City Explorers, 4-3. Provencher went 1-for-4 on the night and drove in three runs. The Saltdogs scored a run in the third inning to take a 1-0 lead. The Explorers fought back with three runs of their own in the sixth to take the lead at 3-1. Lincoln plated two in the seventh to tie the score at 3-3 and scored the game winning run in the ninth on Provencher's sacrifice fly. Saltdogs reliever Pete Parise picked up the win after pitching a scoreless inning of work and giving up only a walk. C Ray Serrano drove in two runs for Sioux City in the loss.

Winnipeg 9, El Paso 7 (10 Innings)

The Winnipeg Goldeyes rallied from a run down to defeat the El Paso Diablos 9-7 in 10 innings. The Goldeyes plated a run in the ninth inning to tie the game at 7-7 and send it to extra innings. Winnipeg would then score two more runs in the 10th, highlighted by a RBI triple from RF Josh Mazzola, to get the victory. Mazzola finished 3-for-5 on the night with two runs scored. Goldeyes CF Chris Roberson, DH Jon Weber and Matt Cusick each chipped in with two hits apiece. Goldeyes reliever Craig James picked up the win while Nick Carr notched his second save of the season.
