Sioux Falls 3, Sioux City 1
Behind homeruns from C Steve Domecus and SS Cory Morales the Sioux Falls Canaries took the fourth game of the series from the Sioux City Explorers 3-1 after losing the first three games. Domecus was just 1-for-3 on the day but his fourth inning blast gave the Canaries a lead that they would not relinquish. Morales followed suit in next inning giving the eventual winning pitcher Kyle Ruwe more than enough run support. Ruwe worked 7.1 innings and gave up just one run (earned) on six hits while striking out three. The Explorers only run came in the top of the eighth inning on a single by RF Peter Barrows. P Alan DeRatt closed out the game for the Canaries and earned the save.
St. Paul 9, New Jersey 3 (Delayed - 8 innings)
The St. Paul Saints are leading the New Jersey Jackals of the Can-Am League 9-3 after the completion of eight innings in an inter-league contest. Rain suspended play.
