A RBI groundout by CF Brian Fryer and a run scoring single by RF Charles Carter plated two runs for the Cats in the bottom of the eighth inning and led Fort Worth to victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs. The win by the Cats moved their record over the .500 mark to 3-2. Carter and C Ken Lup both had 2-for-4 nights with a run scored and a RBI to lead Fort Worth offensively. Cats reliever Jon Hunton picked up the win pitching 1 1/3 innings allowing a hit and a walk while fanning one. For Lincoln in the losing effort, DH Felix Jose went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI.
