Shreveport-Bossier got a great outing from starting pitcher Jimmy Heard and cruised to an easy win at home against Fort Worth. Heard allowed one run on six hits while fanning four and walking none in 7 1/3 innings to earn the win and improve to 5-0 on the season. Captains 1B Bryan Sabatella led the way offensively, going 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a RBI. DH Christopher Garcia and 3B Andres Rodriguez chipped in with 2-for-4 nights in which they each drove in a run. Captains closer Justin Dowdy fanned one in a 1-2-3 ninth inning to notch his 12th save.
