Down 2-1 entering the bottom of the eighth inning, the Pensacola Pelicans rallied for six runs in the frame and beat the Lincoln Saltdogs 7-2. The series is now tied at two games apiece with game five slated for Sunday to determine the 2009 American Association champion. Pensacola 3B Marshall McDougall went 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI while SS Dallas Christison had a 1-for-3 night with two runs batted in. Pelicans reliever Ron Hill notched his first win of the postseason as he gave up a hit while fanning one in an inning of work. For Lincoln in defeat, C Shawn McGill went 2-for-4 with a home run to lead the Saltdogs offense. The home run for McGill was his second of the playoffs.
