Ambush Host Comets in Home Finale Thursday Night

St. Charles, MO - In the home finale of their inaugural season, the St. Louis Ambush host the Missouri Comets Thursday night (February 27) at 7:35 p.m. at the Family Arena. The two teams squared off in an intensely competitive and close match on Saturday at the Independence Events Center. The Comets prevailed 26-21 in that contest. The Ambush can expect another fierce battle from their cross-state rivals and will be looking to turn the tables on the Comets with the backing of the home crowd at the Family Arena.
Thursday is Retro Night and will feature a Reunion Game of former Ambush, Storm and Steamers legends at halftime. Current Ambush players will wear throwback jerseys from the 1992-94 St. Louis Ambush era when they clash with the Comets. Before the Ambush-Comets game, your St. Louis indoor soccer legends will be signing autographs from 6:30 to 7:15 on the concourse. Organist Jeremy Boyer will perform live throughout the evening. Live organ music was a staple of the Steamers games in the 1980""s. Boyer is a student of the legendary Ernie Hayes and is currently the organist for the St. Louis Blues and has played at Busch Stadium for the Cardinals. Following the February 27 home finale, the Ambush close out their 2013-14 season on the road when they visit U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee to square off with the Wave Saturday, March 1 at 6:00 p.m.
