Ambush Get Blasted in Baltimore

St. Charles, MO - The Baltimore Blast extended their winning streak to seven when they defeated the St. Louis Ambush 14-2 Friday night at the Baltimore Arena. For St. Louis, the loss dropped their record to 4-7, while Baltimore improved to 8-2.

Blast forward Adriano Dos Santos and midfielder Tony Donatelli led Baltimore's offense with two goals each. Max Ferdinand, Mike Lookingland and Marco Mangione each found the back of the net to round out the Blast offense. Playing in his first regulation MISL game, Brandon Manzonelli scored his first goal and the only tally of the contest for St. Louis. Baltimore out shot St. Louis 32-16 and 24-10 in shots on goal. Blast goalkeeper William Vanzela made nine saves on 10 attempts while Jeff Richey saved 19 out of 26 for St. Louis.

The Ambush make their first visit to Pennsylvania to square off with the Roar on Sunday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. CT. Fans can catch all the action on YouTube. Following Sunday's match, St. Louis plays back-to-back games next Friday and Saturday against the Missouri Comets and Milwaukee Wave. The Ambush return home to the Family Arena to host the Wave on Sunday, February 1 at 1:35 p.m. Single-game and group tickets are on sale for all remaining home games.
