Ambassadors Add Another Starting Pitcher

The Allentown Ambassadors signed starting pitcher Tim Davidson, team officials announced today.

The left-handed Davidson pitched in the Western League for the past five seasons. He spent the last four seasons with Sonoma City. Last season Davidson had a 12-2 record with a 4.39 ERA in 18 games started with one shutout. Davidson joins John Dillinger, Mike Riley, and Chris Zallie as established starting pitchers on the Ambassador staff.

The Ambassadors will be holding open tryouts May 3rd at 9 A.M. at Bicentennial Park. Participants need to bring their gear and $30. The Ambassadors¹ season begins with the home opener on May 22nd at 7:05 against the Bangor Lumberjacks. For ticket information, call (610) 437-6800.
