Amarillo, TX 6/11/10-The Amarillo Venom will play their final home game of the regular season Saturday June 12th at 7:05PM CST when the Austin Turfcats visit the Amarillo Civic Center.

Amarillo (10-2) encountered their second defeat of the season last week in Arkansas 68-41. Wide receivers Anthony Clark (Eight total touchdowns) and Ricardo Lenhart (Three total touchdowns in two games) dominated the Venom offense scoring a combined five receiving touchdowns. Defensive back Kevin Patterson collected two interceptions (five total). The Venom defense continues to lead the conference in interceptions with 23.

Austin (2-10) will play their third of four straight games against the Lonestar division teams who have clinched a division playoff game. Wide receiver Austin Willis had one receiving touchdown and is one of the top receivers with the Turfcats. Austin will provide an exciting game for Amarillo as they have stayed within 18 points or less in their last two tilts.

THE SKINNY: Suffering their second defeat of the season, the Venom have stayed focused this week in practice to take care of business and play their best game of the season. The Venom will play their final game of the regular season June 19th in San Angelo.

THE SERIES: Amarillo and Austin's previous meeting 4/2 went to Amarillo 71-20.

The Venom will embark on their final game of the regular season Saturday June 19th at 7:05 CST in San Angelo. Fox 14 has teamed up with the Venom to televise the game and Buffalo Wild Wings will host the official "watch" party.
