Altitude to Sponsor Community Breakfast

ASHEVILLE, N.C., September 27, 2002 - The Asheville Downtown Business Community will learn more about their NBDL team when the Asheville Altitude sponsors the inaugural Downtown-Business Community Open House, Oct. 2 from 8-9 a.m. in the Asheville Civic Center Banquet Hall.

Led by Alfred White, Team President, the open house aspires to enhance the partnerships between the team and the City with a "get-acquainted" continental breakfast catered by the Golden Horn Restaurant.

White will introduce the new additions to the Altitude staff, highlight corporate partners and discuss initiatives for mutual partnerships with the city. He will also welcome special guest NBDL President, Phil Evans, who will briefly discuss the "State of the League".

"We continue to feel fortunate about being part of the Asheville Community," said White. "We look forward to continue to build positive relationships in the Western Carolina, especially within our downtown-business family."

The Altitude opens preseason play Nov. 9 on the road against the Huntsville Flight, followed by a preseason home game Nov. 11 against the Columbus Riverdragons at 7:15 p.m. in the Civic Center.

The Altitude opens the 2002-03 regular season at Fayetteville, Nov. 15, followed by the regular-season home opener against Huntsville Nov. 16. Both games are scheduled for a 7:15 p.m. tip off.

Season ticket packages are on sale now and feature numerous deals for all entertainment needs. Fans can purchase season ticket packages for Altitude home games by calling (828) 782-1000. Individual tickets will be available soon in the following price ranges: $9, $12, $15, $30, and $35. Discounted tickets for children and senior citizens are also available.
