Alouettes Head to Hamilton Before Bye Week

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes will take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats this Friday, September 18, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hamilton Stadium (RDS, 99.5 MTL, TSN 690, CFL+, CBSSN, TSN).
Montreal (10-3-0) sits atop the CFL standings, while Hamilton (4-9-0) is in third place in the East Division.
The Alouettes suffered a 48-29 loss in Vancouver on Saturday, while the Tiger-Cats enjoyed a bye week. Once Friday's game is over, Jason Maas and his squad will have a week off before returning to action at home against Winnipeg on October 3.
The Alouettes will make a few changes to their lineup this week, including the addition of veteran receiver Charleston Rambo. He signed with the Alouettes last week after spending the offseason as a free agent since February.
He recorded 585 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 17 games in 2025.
The Alouettes will also have a new kick returner on Friday, as Mekhi Mews will make his CFL debut in place of the injured DeVonte Dedmon.
Cornerback Kabion Ento also suffered an injury against British Columbia, while Don Callis has been suspended for one game for his involvement in the altercation last week.
With both players unavailable, rookie Neil Campbell will make his CFL debut and his first career start.
Running back Shomari Lawrence, Marco Dubois and Lwal Uguak will all make their first appearances in the lineup. Cole Spieker, Liam Talbot and David Perales will be out for Friday's game.
