ALMS Drivers Take to the Soccer Field with the San Jose CyberRays

Three of the top drivers from the American Le Mans Series will take to the field with players from the San Jose CyberRays women's soccer team. In a simulated practice session, the drivers will square off against the players in a penalty kick drill and three-on-three scrimmage. This event will kick off a week-long celebration of the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma, presented by the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa and Foster's Lager, which will take place at Infineon Raceway, July 25-27.

WHEN: Monday, July 21, 2003, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

WHERE: West Valley College, 14000 Fruitvale, Saratoga, CA, 95070.

WHO: Drivers representing the American Le Mans Series will be ex-Formula One standout Johnny Herbert, who now competes for Team ADT Champion Audi; and Chilean-born Eliseo Salazar, who has raced in the IndyCar Series and Formula One competition and now drives a Ferrari on the ALMS circuit. The CyberRays will be represented by LaKeysia Beene, Sissi, Katia and Michelle French.
