
Allen's Alex Lavoie Named Central Hockey League Rookie of the Month

GLENDALE, AZ (February 4, 2014) -The Central Hockey League announced today that for the second time this season, Allen Americans forward Alex Lavoie has been named the recipient of the Central Hockey League Rookie of the Month (January/2014). Lavoie also won the monthly honor for October.
Lavoie finished the month of January with six goals and eight assists in 11 games and was a team-high +12. On the season, the Anjou, Quebec is sixth in the CHL in scoring with 54 points (20-34=54) and he has 13 more points than the second highest scoring rookie (Tulsa's Adam Pleskach).
In January, Lavoie's team went 8-1-2 and personally the forward scored points in nine of the Americans 11 games recording multiple point games five times.
