NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans VooDoo have been assigned All-Arena defensive back Cameron McGlenn, announced the VooDoo front office Thursday morning.

McGlenn (6-0, 195, Elon) enters his fifth season in the Arena Football League and third season with the New Orleans VooDoo. In 2014, McGlenn earned Second Team All-Arena honors after collecting 96.5 tackles and 11 interceptions in 17 games with the VooDoo. In 2013, he recorded 85.5 tackles and seven interceptions splitting time between the Spokane Shock and the New Orleans VooDoo. McGlenn led the League in 2012 with 125.5 tackles as a member of the Iowa Barnstormers and collected 89.5 tackles and nine interceptions as a rookie with the Barnstormers in 2011.

Before turning pro, McGlenn was named Second-Team All-Southern Conference as a senior at Elon, finishing the year with 59 tackles and three interceptions.

"We are excited to have Cameron sign back with the VooDoo," said VooDoo Head Coach Dean Cokinos. "He has been a productive player in the AFL. He has good size and is an exceptional athlete. He is a hard working, good character guy. He will be a key part of our building process."
