Boucherville, QC - The latest Ultramar Player of the Week is goaltender Alexis Gravel of the Halifax Mooseheads. In a pair of starts, Gravel went 2-0 as the Mooseheads maintained their hold on first place in the Maritimes Division.

On Thursday night in Charlottetown, Gravel got the job done between the pipes and was rewarded with plenty of offensive support. He was named the game's third star thanks to a 35-save effort, including 18 second period stops, in a convincing 8-2 win for the Mooseheads over the Islanders.

On Sunday afternoon in Bathurst, the Mooseheads extended their latest winning streak to three games with a 5-0 triumph over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Gravel turned aside all 30 shots directed his way to earn his second career QMJHL regular season shutout. The third year veteran was named the game's first star.

Gravel, a sixth-round selection of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, has posted a 6-2-0-0 record so far this season with the Mooseheads. The 18-year-old from Asbestos, Quebec currently sits sixth in the league with a 2.51 GAA. His save percentage of .927% ranks third among all netminders.
