Alex Falconer Traded to Coulee Region
October 1, 2015 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Wichita Falls Wildcats News Release
The Wichita Falls Wildcats traded veteran forward Alex Falconer to the Coulee Region Chill for future considerations on Tuesday afternoon. The paperwork was finalized late on Wednesday.
"Alex has been a strong member of our team for over a year. He's got an impeccable work ethic; very rarely was he not the first player at the rink for practice and the last one to leave," Wildcats Head Coach John LaFontaine said. "He'll be missed, but at the same time we are excited for him and his opportunity. He brings lots of qualities Coulee Region can use. He felt he would have a greater opportunity up there."
Falconer has ties to the Coulee Region. A Kohler, Wisconsin native, he will be much closer to home and will have the chance to play again for his former assistant coach, Chris Ceranski.
