Albany Firebirds Hold Open Tryouts For Dance Team

ALBANY, NY - The Flames, official Dance Team of the Albany Firebirds of arenafootball2, will begin preparing for the 2009 season with tryouts on Saturday, January 31st at Gold's Gym in Latham.
Registration begins at 11:30 am, with tryouts starting promptly at 12:00 pm; a $25 non-refundable fee is required for all participants. All interested dancers are asked to wear the following:
-Dance/crop top with dance shorts
-Flesh colored tights or none at all
-Dance shoes or sneakers
-Performance ready hair and makeup
-No dance pants or long shorts.
-Come neat, polished and ready to perform

The Albany Firebirds will begin their 2009 regular season schedule on March 27th at Mahoning Valley, while their first home game is set for April 10th against the Florida Firecats at the Times Union Center.
