Albany Conquest Treasures to hold dance clinics this month

Albany, N.Y., October 13, 2004 â The Albany Conquest Treasures Dance Team, professional dance team for the Albany Conquest of arenafootball2, will hold three separate dance clinics this month at ABC Sports and Fitness in Latham, N.Y.
On October 23rd, a clinic for Junior Treasures, ages 12 to 18, will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and a clinic for Lil' Gems, for ages five to eight will follow from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Those between nine and 11 years of age may also attend, but will be placed with one of the two groups based upon skill level. Those with two or more years of dance experience will be placed with Junior Treasures, while those with less than two years dance experience will be placed with Lil' Gems. Those participating will be asked to pay a $20 registration fee per clinic.
On October 30th, a preparatory dance clinic will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for dancers who plan to audition for future Albany Conquest Treasures Dance Teams. Participants in the October 30th clinic must be 16 years of age or older and have previous dance or cheer experience. Registration is $50 per person for this clinic. Participants who attend the prep clinic should be advised that in order to be considered for the 2005 Albany Conquest Treasures Dance Team, the individual must be 18 years of age or older. Open auditions for the 2005 Treasures will be held in January.
To register in advance please contact Victoria Suitto at the Albany Conquest front office at (518) 487-2246. Walk-ins are also welcome with registration beginning 30 minutes prior to the start of each clinic.
The Albany Conquest, a proud member of the Arena Football family, are entering their fourth season competing in arenafootball2 which runs from late March through July with playoffs being held in August. The Conquest plays their home games at the Pepsi Arena in Albany. N.Y.
