
Ajara Nchout Njoya Named to Cameroon Women's World Cup Roster

ELMA, N.Y. (Monday, June 01, 2015) - Western New York Flash forward Ajara Nchout Njoya has been named to Cameroon's 23-player roster that will compete in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Njoya, 22, has joined Cameroon and will return to the Flash following the team's final game of the World Cup.
Cameroon will compete in Group C alongside Switzerland, Ecuador and defending World Champion Japan. The team begins play on Monday, June 8 at 7 p.m. ET, facing Ecuador at BC Place in Vancouver. The match will be aired on Fox Sports 2.
Njoya was signed as a Discovery Player during the offseason and has played in two matches for the Flash this season, her first year in the NWSL.
