In Tuesday's action, goaltender Justin Peters made 34 saves and stopped all four shootout tries as Albany edged Bridgeport, 2-1... Marc-Andre Gragnani and Mark Mancari notched shootout goals to lift Portland past Manchester, 3-2... Aaron Gagnon registered two goals and an assist as Texas extended its points streak to five games (4-0-1-0) with a 5-2 win over Milwaukee.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Rockford brings its three-game winning streak and seven-game points streak (6-0-0-1) into a home-ice match-up with Hamilton on Wednesday at the MetroCentre... The IceHogs are 0-3-0-0 lifetime against the Bulldogs, including a 3-0 loss in Hamilton back on Oct. 9... IceHogs forward Kyle Greentree has notched a goal in three straight games (3-1-4) and has a point in seven straight outings (5-4-9)... Bracken Kearns is riding a five-game scoring run (2-4-6) for Rockford and ranks second on the club with 36 points (10-26-36) in 49 contests overall... 'Hogs goaltender Corey Crawford is 5-0-1 (1.80,.939) in his last six appearances... Hamilton is just 1-3-1-1 in its last six games but still holds a five-point lead atop the North Division... Goaltender Cedrick Desjardins has a league-leading five shutouts and ranks second in goals-against average (1.84) in 28 games for the Bulldogs (18-6-2)... 'Dogs leading scorer Brock Trotter (20-26-46 in 44 GP) saw his seven-game scoring streak (9-7-16) end on Saturday in a 4-3 loss at Toronto.

Norfolk continues its seven-game road trip with a stop in Hartford on Wednesday in the first meeting between the teams since Feb. 29, 2008... New head coach Jim Johnson and the Admirals are 3-0-0-0 thus far on the journey after capturing three wins in as many days last weekend... Norfolk is 11-6-0-0 this season against non-divisional foes but just 9-17-2-0 vs. East Division rivals... Ryan Craig has a point in three of his last four games (1-2-3) and paces the Admirals' active roster with 14 goals and 24 points in 39 contests for the season... Mark Parrish has found the scoresheet in five of his last six outings (2-5-7) for Norfolk... Ads rookie goaltender Dustin Tokarski (13-13-0) is coming off his third shutout of the season, a 24-save effort in Sunday's 1-0 win at Lowell... The Wolf Pack have managed only one goal in three of their last four games (1-2-1-0)... Corey Locke is on a three-game scoring streak for Hartford (1-2-3) and ranks third in the AHL with 50 points (18-32-50) in 46 tilts overall... Hartford boasts the AHL's fourth-best power play on home ice (22.2 percent) but will go up against an Admirals penalty-killing unit which ranks first on the road (90.7 percent) and fourth overall (86.9 percent).

Winners of three straight games, Houston invades Allstate Arena on Wednesday to face Chicago, which is 8-1-0-0 in its last nine contests overall and has won seven straight home games... Houston's three-game winning streak matches a season high (Oct. 24-27 and Nov. 5-13)... Reigning Reebok/AHL player of the week Maxim Noreau shows nine points (3-6-9) in his last three outings for the Aeros and leads all AHL defensemen with 13 goals and 37 points in 45 games overall... Jon DiSalvatore put up five points (1-4-5) in Houston's two-game sweep in Abbotsford last weekend... The Aeros' second-ranked penalty kill (88.6 percent) has killed off 31 of 33 shorthanded situations (93.9 percent) in the last six games... Wolves forward Tim Stapleton has a goal in five straight games (5-4-9) and a point in seven straight (6-8-14)... All-Star forward Brett Sterling shows a point in nine of his last 10 contests (7-6-13) for the Wolves, and Joey Crabb has found the scoresheet in seven of his last eight (5-5-10)... Jason Krog has a team-high four points (1-3-4) in two games vs. Houston this season, both victories.

ALUMNI WATCH:

On Tuesday, Shawn Matthias, who has 11 points in 22 AHL games for Rochester this season, tallied a pair of goals to give Florida a 2-1 win over Montreal... Brian Elliott posted a 24-save shutout as Ottawa extended its winning streak to seven games with a 3-0 triumph over New Jersey... Recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton earlier in the day, Chris Conner tallied two goals - including the game-winner - as Pittsburgh doubled up the N.Y. Rangers by a 4-2 count on Monday.

BY THE NUMBERS:

30 -- Road games played so far this season by Milwaukee, most in the AHL... The Admirals, who are 16-10-1-3 away from the Bradley Center, will play 16 of their next 20 games on home ice, beginning Thursday against Hamilton.
