
AHL Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.... The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Trevor Gilliesand right wing Pascal Morency have been suspended for one (1) game each as a result of their actions in a game vs. Hartford on Nov. 7.
Gillies received an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating his third game misconduct in the general category this season.
Morency was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.
Both players will miss Bridgeport's game today (Nov. 8) vs. Lowell.
