CHASE TO 5000: Tampa Bay Storm QB SHANE STAFFORD, San Jose SaberCats QB MARK GRIEB, and Dallas Desperados QB CLINT DOLEZEL lead the AFL with 2,525, 2,432, and 2,430 passing yards, respectively. All three are on pace to break the single-season record set in 2005 by Grieb (4,796). Stafford is on pace for 5,050, Grieb is on pace for 4,864, and Dolezel is on pace for 4,860. If Stafford reaches 5,000 yards, he would be the first player in AFL history to accomplish this feat in a single season.

KICKING UP A STORM: Los Angeles Avengers K REMY HAMILTON is on pace to break the single-season scoring record for most point by a kicker (185), which he set in 2005. Hamilton has 95 points this season and is projected to reach 190. He also needs 16 points to pass K MIKE BLACK for second all-time among kickers with 1,254 points.

Dallas Desperados QB CLINT DOLEZEL (716) became the third player in AFL history to throw for 700 touchdowns two weeks ago and was the quickest to reach the milestone (125 games). He joined QB ANDY KELLY (741), and Bonner in three-way battle to pass the all-time leader, QB AARON GARCIA of the New York Dragons (757) this season. Additionally, Kelly needs nine touchdowns to become the second player in AFL history with 750 career.
