
AFL Washington Valor Announced as Team Name

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Monumental Sports & Entertainment and the Arena Football League announced today that the team's name will be the "Washington Valor" and revealed their logo at MedStar Health Orthopaedic and Sports Center.
In attendance for the ceremony were: MSE founder, majority owner and chairman, Ted Leonsis; Co-Owner, MSE managing partner of Washington Valor, Roger Mody; AFL Commissioner, Scott Butera; Washington Valor head coach, Dean Cokinos; and MedStar Health President and CEO, Kenneth A. Samet.
