April 14, 2005 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release

COLORADO OS DAMIAN HARRELL vs. CHICAGO WR/LB ETU MOLDEN

Two AFL stars look to make their case for two of the League's biggest year-end awards when Colorado OS DAMIAN HARRELL (6-3, 200, Florida State) and the AFLWA's No. 1-ranked Crush (8-2) travel to Allstate Arena to play WR/LB ETU MOLDEN (6-2, 195, Montana) and the No. 8-ranked Rush (6-4) this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.

Harrell, who is a leading candidate for Offensive Player of the Year honors, continued his AFL record-setting ways with his 43rd consecutive regular-season game with a receiving touchdown in last week's victory over Philadelphia. During his streak, the seven-year veteran has had 23 games with at least three receiving touchdowns, 22 games with 100 or more receiving yards, and seven games with double-digit catches. The former FSU receiver is known for his great hands, highlight-reel catches and fan-friendly celebrations.

Molden, who is a leading candidate for U.S. Army Ironman of the Year, continues his impressive play in leading the Rush closer to a postseason berth. The former Grizzly leads the Rush in receptions (66), yards (774) and receiving touchdowns (16), while tallying 18.5 total tackles and three interceptions. Molden is known for his size, physical play and his ability to make plays in the red zone.

LAS VEGAS QB CLINT DOLEZEL and OS MARCUS NASH vs. PHILADELPHIA QB TONY GRAZIANI and WR/LB MARCUS KNIGHT

Expect a high-scoring affair at Wachovia Center when two of the AFL's best pass-and-catch combos go toe-to-toe. Las Vegas Gladiators QB CLINT DOLEZEL (6-5, 195, East Texas State) and OS MARCUS NASH (6-3, 210, Tennessee) look to out-gun Philadelphia Soul QB TONY GRAZIANI (6-3, 210, Oregon) and emerging star WR/LB MARCUS KNIGHT (6-1, 192, Michigan) this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dolezel has completed 64.5 percent of his passes for 2,007 yards and 42 touchdowns. The former All-Arena quarterback, who already has an ArenaBowl title (2001 with Grand Rapids) to his credit, is known for his ability to find receivers, toughness and leadership. Nash has hauled in 93 receptions for 1,335 yards and 28 touchdowns. The 2004 Offensive Player of the Year, who is No. 2 in the AFL with 68 money receptions (touchdowns and first downs combined), has the size and hands that make this duo one of the League's most lethal.

Graziani has completed 60.4 percent of his passes for 2,955 yards and a League-leading 68 touchdowns. The 2004 All-Arena performer, who has guided the Soul to victory in three of their last four games, is known for his arm strength, ability to take a hit and leadership. Knight, who is in his rookie season, has recorded 32 receptions for 498 yards and 15 touchdowns in just six games. The former Wolverine and Rookie of the Year candidate is known for his ability to get open, breakaway speed and ability to catch the ball in traffic.
