TAMPA BAY - Tampa Bay Storm wide receiver Hank Edwards earned the Arena Football League Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week, announced Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum.
"Hank has had two very good weeks going back to Utah," said Marcum. "This past week was impressive, he has come a long way and is a key to our offense."
Edwards, (6-foot-3, 185 lbs, Texas Southern) set a franchise record on his way to recording 10 receptions for 209 yards and three touchdowns. He is the first player in team history to surpass 200 yards receiving in a single game. Additionally, Edwards eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving for the second time is his career and now has 76 catches for 1,167 yards and 25 touchdowns on the season.
