AFL Flexes National Game of the Week Schedule
July 1, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL) News Release
TULSA- The Arena Football League has adjusted the schedule of the NFL Network's Arena Football Friday broadcast for July 30. Originally scheduled to air was the Tulsa at Oklahoma City game, but the game shown will now be the Spokane at Jacksonville game.
"As someone who has spent many years in Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City and Tulsa rivalry is one of my favorites,"Â Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz said. "However, Spokane and Jacksonville will be a very exciting game with an outcome that may affect the post season dramatically."
The AFL's contract with the NFL Network allows for flexibility in the broadcast schedule to ensure the fans will see the game with the most potential. As the last broadcasted game of the regular season, the outcome of Spokane and Jacksonville may alter the seeding and placement of these two division-front runners in the playoffs.
