Grand Rapids Rampage News Release
The Grand Rapids Rampage Arena Football team has the Philadelphia Soul's second, fourth and fifth round selections in tomorrow's 2004 Expansion Draft, and will pick from a pool of 33 players that were left unprotected by their respective teams. Expansion teams Philadelphia, New Orleans and Austin will participate in the draft. The Rampage and Colorado Crush have picks in the draft because of trades with Philadelphia.
The 33 players come from just seven of last season's 16 teams (Chicago, Colorado, Columbus, Dallas, Indiana, Los Angeles and San Jose). A maximum of five minutes per selection is allowed in each round. If the time limit expires, the pick is forfeited. Trades between the expansion team and other clubs may be made at any time prior to and during the draft. RampageFootball.com will provide live coverage of the expansion draft.
