AFL Broadcast Will Not Air Nationally

CHICAGO - The Week 14 broadcast of "NET10 Arena Football Friday" on NFL Network will not air tonight (Friday, June 8), the Arena Football League Office announced today. NFL Network will not broadcast the game due to labor uncertainty.
"This is unfortunate, but we understand the decision being made by NFL Network," AFL Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz said. "The public negotiation tactics of some, have put a large number of people in a difficult situation. We will continue to work at reaching an agreement with our players and hope that those involved in the talks will proceed in a more constructive way."
The 2012 season marks the third consecutive year of the Arena Football League's partnership with NFL Network.
