AFL Awards Week 7 Players of the Week

LAS VEGAS - The Arena Football League has announced that Philadelphia Soul's quarterback Greg McGhee and Albany Empire's linebacker Terence Moore have been named as the offensive and defensive players of the week for Week 7, respectively.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - McGhee (6'3, 205, Howard) totaled over 200 yards on the ground and air in the Soul's 54-35 loss to the Baltimore Brigade on Friday night. The rookie quarterback went 14-of-26 passes for 164 yards, two interceptions, and three touchdowns. McGhee also rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Moore (6'2, 225, Troy) tallied 10 total tackles, one tackle for-a-loss, two pass break ups, and a 37 yard interception return for a touchdown in the Empire's 48-21 win over the Washington Valor. The seven-year veteran currently ranks second in tackles on the season with 38 total tackles. Moore is leads the League in interception return yards with 40.
