CAPE FEAR WILDCATS (7-2) AT ROCHESTER BRIGADE (1-9)
FRIDAY, JUNE 13, 2003 - BLUE CROSS ARENA (10,598) 7:30 P.M. ET

The Cape Fear Wildcats travel to Rochester to take on the Brigade for the first time this season and in af2 history. The Wildcats currently stand at the top of the American Atlantic Division, while the Brigade sits in fourth in the American Northeast Division. Cape Fear hopes to extend its winning streak to three while carrying the momentum gained from last week's strong outing against the Speed in which WILMONT PERRY rushed for an amazing four touchdowns (for the second straight week) to stop the Speed in its tracks, earning Ironman of the Week honors in the process. Rochester also needs to look out for MATT BURSTEIN, who leads his team in receptions, and kicker MATT GROFF who is third in the league in PAT kicking percentage. Brigade head coach MARK SAUNDERS hopes to end the team's five-game losing streak by taking advantage of the fact that Cape Fear's two losses this year have come on the road. The Brigade will surpass 100,000 in total attendance in team history after the first 1,284 fans walk through the door Friday night. These teams do not meet again this season.

ARKANSAS TWISTERS (5-4) AT BOSSIER CITY BATTLE WINGS (3-7)
FRIDAY, JUNE 13, 2003 - CENTURYTEL CENTER (12,500) 8:30 P.M. ET

The Twisters head to Bossier City to take on the Battle Wings for the second time this season. In the teams' previous meeting on April 25th, Arkansas pulled off some late fourth quarter scoring to barely edge the Battle Wings 57-54. Arkansas' KEVIN WILLIAMS returned a fumble five yards for a touchdown and he caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from RICKY HEBERT. Hebert came through once again for the Twisters in the final minutes of the game when he connected with LENNIE JOHNSON to put the Twisters on top. Bossier City's SHADRICK MCAFFEE greatly contributed in the teams' first meeting, scoring on a touchdown pass and by returning a kickoff 56 yards for the score. This game is an important battle in the National Central Division, with the Twisters in second place and the Battle Wings two games behind them. The Twisters knocked off first-place Hawaii last week and have won three of its last four games. This is the final meeting of the regular season for these teams.
