
Aeros reassign Thomson to ECHL Texas

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League have reassigned rookie forward Ben Thomson to the ECHL's Texas Wildcatters, the teams announced Thursday.
Thomson, 24 (6/30/82), has posted 22 points (7-15=22) and 41 penalty minutes in 47 games with the Aeros. The 5-foot-7, 180-pound native of Coaldale, Alta., played three seasons at the University of Alberta and was a 2005-06 Canada West First Team All-Star.
The Aeros begin a five-game road trip Friday in Toronto at 6:30 p.m. Houston returns home on Friday, March 23 to take on the Rochester Americans at Toyota Center at 7:35 p.m. Visit Aeros.com or call 1.866.GO.AEROS for ticket information.
