Lake Michigan Admirals News Release
St. Joseph, MI.- The Lake Michigan Admirals were at it again Saturday night at Lake Michigan Catholic in front of a crowd of approximately 500. Their were many times the crowd were on their feet to cheer on their very own professional basketball team on to victory. The first quarter the Admirals took charge and went up 23-11 and they never looked back.
"This was the most exciting game I've seen in years," said new Admiral fan Butch Mammina.
The Admirals were lead by veteran player Dominick Melton going 10 for 14 from the field and 6 out of 7 from the line scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and DeAngelo Johnson with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Both players are from Muskegon. Also having a great game was Anthony "The Wizard" Slater scoring a triple double the hard way with 10 points, 17 assists, and 10 steals. Horace from the Indiana Steamrollers had 22 points.
The final score was Admirals 137-Indiana 104.
