Admirals to Open Season against Seattle Mountaineers

The Lake Michigan Admirals are ready to get the season started. This Saturday, December 4th, at Lake Michigan Catholic at 7:00pm is the season opener for the Admirals.
If it's anything like last year, the season will be filled with fast-paced, high-flying, fan-friendly entertainment and will provide an NBAlike atmosphere right here in south- west Michigan. Last year's inaugural team made it to the ABA playoffs, a rare feat for a first year team.
Not one to rest on his laurels, General Manager, Chris Glisson has been extremely busy during the off season to improve the talent and depth of this year's squad.
"The team has changed for the better by adding key players in key positions so that we can bring home a championship," stated Glisson. "I've got many of our key impact players returning, and I am excited about our new additions.
This weekend is a double-game match- up against the Seattle Mountaineers. The second game in the series will be played on Sunday, December 5th at Coloma High School at 3:00pm.
"This will be a tough series, but a good barometer for our team's chemistry and areas for us to improve," Glisson explained. "The Mountaineers are very similar to our Admirals squad....explosive on offense and tenacious on defense."
Tickets are still available at the door for both games.
