
Admirals, Stars Begin Playoff Series Friday

Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee Admirals and Texas Stars kick-off their best-of-five Western Conference Quarterfinal match-up on Friday night at 7:00 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The two teams will battle again on Saturday night at 7:00 as well before shifting to Austin, TX for game 3 and, if necessary, games four and five.

Western Conference Quarterfinals - (best-of-5)
1-Texas Stars vs. 8-Milwaukee Admirals (all times Central)
Game 1 - Friday, Apr. 26 - Texas at Milwaukee, 7:00
Game 2 - Saturday, Apr. 27 - Texas at Milwaukee, 7:00
Game 3 - Wednesday, May 1 - Milwaukee at Texas, 7:30
*Game 4 - Friday, May 3 - Milwaukee at Texas, 7:30
*Game 5 - Saturday, May 4 - Milwaukee at Texas, 7:00
As the higher seed, the Stars had the choice of playing the first two games on home ice or the final three.
The Admirals lost to the Stars in the only two match-ups between the two teams this season, both of which took place before Christmas.. Texas won 3-1 in Austin on October 24 and 2-1 in OT at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on December 5.
The series is also a rematch of the Western Conference Quarterfinals from 2011 when the Ads beat Texas 4-2. That series saw Mark Van Guilder clinch the series with a goal in double-overtime of game 6.

Tickets for the first two games are currently on sale and are priced less than regular season tickets again this year. Seats in the Admirals Quarters (all seats on the glass) will run $19.60, tickets are $16.60for Mid-Deck seats (sections 225-203 and 211-217), $13.25 for Stern and Bow (behind goals and in corners, handicap platform, and child seats. In addition, groups of ten or more still get a minimum of $2 off each ticket.
