September 8, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI- Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that the team has promoted Brian Martens to Senior Account Executive.
Martens' primary duties will be to continue to sell both season tickets and groups of ten or more people and maintain current ticket accounts. In addition, he will be the point person for all church groups and birthday celebrations at Admirals games and he will provide unsurpassed customer service at the DigiCopy Information Table during each game.
"Brian has done an exemplary job for us and this promotion is well deserved," said Greenberg. "He has been one of our top sales people for the past two seasons and his affable nature allows our fans to feel an immediate connection with him."
Martens has literally climbed the corporate ladder with the Admirals. The University of Wisconsin-Parkside graduate started as a game-day intern for the team during the 2004-05 season and then spent the 2005-06 campaign as a sales intern before joining the front office on a full-time basis as an account executive prior to the 2006-07 season.
Martens and his wife Kristin reside in Franklin.
The Admirals open the 2008-09 regular season in San Antonio on Saturday, October 11th and will kick off the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 18th at 7:30 pm versus the Rockford IceHogs at the Bradley Center. Season tickets for the upcoming season are currently on sale starting as low at $145. For more information fans can call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
