Admirals Fall 112-100

Rochester, NY. - The Rochester RazorSharks (4-1) sent Lake Michigan to their second straight loss 112-100 at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester.

The Admirals led in rebounds and field goal percentage, but it was not enough to overcome the Admirals 20 turnovers. The RazorSharks scored 14 points off Admirals turnovers, trailing for less than one minute in the third quarter.

Rochester used runs of 6-0 and 13-4 in the second quarter to take a 60-51 lead into halftime. Another 12-3 run in the third quarter opened a 12-point lead for the RazorSharks. The fourth quarter was a split, both teams scoring 24 points.

Florentino Valencia led the Admirals with 24 points followed by 7-foot 3 Shagari Alleyne with 16. Steve Strong and Rodney Alexander added 13 and Romain Martin 10 in a balanced attack.

Rochester had four players in double figures, led by Tasheed Carr with 25 points and 6 foot 9 Jamaal Davis with 23.
