
Adirondack's Cloutier and Tebbs earn weekly honors

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Monday that Adirondack Frostbite center Sylvain Cloutier has been named Sher-Wood UHL Player of the Week and Adirondack Frostbite goaltender Kris Tebbs has been named Southern Sports Supply UHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 2nd, 2006.
Cloutier completed the week with eight points (1g, 7a) and a plus-6 rating in three games played. On Friday, he had three points (1g, 2a) in the 5-3 win vs. Roanoke Valley. He dished out three assists in the 4-3 win vs. Danbury on Saturday. He collected two assists in the 3-1 victory vs. Danbury on Sunday. The 32-year-old native of Mont-Laurier, Quebec is currently riding a four-game assist streak. Cloutier ranks tied for sixth in the UHL with 79 points (24g, 55a) in 67 games played.
Other players nominated for the Sher-Wood UHL Player of the Week include: Danbury center David Hymovitz, Elmira center Chris Chaput, Fort Wayne left wing Brent Rumble, Kalamazoo center Jason Deitsch, Missouri defenseman Tyler Butler, Motor City center Adam Edinger, Muskegon left wing David Wrigley, Quad City right wing Jeff Petruic, Richmond forward John DiPace, Roanoke left wing Mike Wiggins, and Rockford center Olivier Proulx.
Tebbs finished the week with a 3-0-0 record, a 2.00 goals against average (GAA), and a .932 save percentage (SPCT). He made 31 saves in the 5-3 win vs. Roanoke Valley on Friday. He stopped 17 shots in the 4-2 win vs. Danbury on Saturday. On Sunday, he made 34 saves in the 3-1 win vs. Danbury, plus he added an assist on the game-winning goal. The 24-year-old native of Calgary, Alberta has won his last five starts and has a 20-11-1 season record. He currently ranks seventh among UHL goaltenders with a 2.77 GAA.
