Adams Commits to Wayne State

Fargo (ND) The Fargo-Moorhead Jets are proud to announce that second-year defenseman Ryan Adams has committed to play collegiate hockey at Division I Wayne State beginning next season.
"I'm thrilled to know I have a place to play college hockey and reaching the Division I level is a fulfillment of my goal coming to play with the FM Jets" said Adams, a native of Deloraine, MB.
In 51 games, Adams has 39 points (10 goals) and is second among defensemen in scoring in the North American Hockey League.
The Wayne State Warriors are members of College Hockey America and are coached by Bill Wilkinson who is currently in his 25th season with the Detroit, MI area based school. Wayne State finished the regular season 12-20-2 and fourth in the CHA heading into the conference tournament which starts this weekend.
Adams becomes the third FM Jets' player to commit this season, joining goaltender Austin Lee (Mankato) and Matt Becker (Air Force).
The FM Jets (34-15-4, 72pts) are home all this weekend at the Carlson Coliseum. On Thursday the face the Bismarck Bobcats (7:35pm), then tackle the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Friday (7:35pm) and Saturday (7:05pm.
