
Abby Wambach to Train with Flash

Elma, N.Y. (Wednesday, March 20, 2013) - The Western New York Flash of the National Women's Soccer League has announced that Abby Wambach will be attending her first training session with the club on Wednesday, March 20. There will only be one training session today, which will begin at 10am.
Wambach returned to the states last week after the USWNT won its ninth Algarve Cup in Portugal. The forward remains at 154 career goals, four shy of tying Mia Hamm's international record. She was named the FIFA World player of the year after leading the USWNT to a Gold Medal at the London Olympics in 2012. The Pittsford native returns home to begin a new journey with the Flash in the NWSL.
