ABA super teams schedule out of conference game
January 24, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Arkansas RimRockers News Release
Salt Lake City, UT. Two of the ABA's best teams, the Utah Snowbears and the Arkansas RimRockers have re-arranged their schedules so that the powerhouses can meet one another in regular league play. The two teams will face off on February 12th at the Alltel Arena in Little Rock. Utah is currently 20-0 and the RimRockers are 16-4. Both teams had open dates; both teams are confident and ready.
And according to Larry Crain, RimRocker CEO, "What would a "Battle of the Titans" be without a "Showstopper?" "So, we are going to have Shawn Michaels of the WWE, "The Heartbreak Kid" and "The Show Stopper" will be the RimRockers 11th man and will dress with the team and sign autographs for fans in attendance." This is a game you don't want to miss.
For ticket and media information, please call Kevin Pearce of the RimRockers at 501 975 HOOP. The game can be heard on both Arkansas Rim Rockers and Utah Snowbear Radio Networks and on the web at www.utahsnowbears.net or www.csn.com. Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
