March 19, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maywood Buzz News Release

MAYWOOD, CA - (March 19, 2007) The ABA Summer Pro League hosted by the Maywood Buzz has moved the dates of the Pro League from July 1st-15th to August 1st - 12th, 2007.

"Because of the number of NBA Summer Pro (SPL') and other Pro Leagues that go on in July, we wanted to give players a chance to showcase their talents not only at those SPL's but also ours," says Buzz General Manager Burrel Lee III. "Instead of competing with others we've opted to push ours back a month to give the players more exposure" added Lee.

The ABA Summer Pro League has traditionally given players a chance to showcase their skills under ABA Rules, an opportunity to play in front of ABA General Managers, Coaches and Owners. The ABA Summer Pro League will begin tryouts August 1st-3rd for all incoming free agents and after which they will be placed on the free agent teams.

SPL games will begin on Saturday, August 4th through Sunday, August 12th, 2007.
