ABA radio network adds 20 stations
July 20, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. Joe Newman, ABA Co-founder, today announced that another 20 radio stations have been added to the ABA radio network that will begin broadcasting an "ABA Game of the Week" when the season begins in November. According to Newman, "Keith Cameron and Gary Nice of EMI are finding radio stations very receptive to carrying the ABA games, especially with the league having Mexican, Canadian teams and both a Native American and Chinese team to complement its US teams. This brings the number of stations to 40. We are very pleased."

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
