Published on August 12, 2005 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Los Angeles, CA. Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK that airs each Friday at 3pm on www.abalive.com announced that this week's edition of the show will feature Kazumi Hasegawa of the ABA San Jose Skyrockets and Mona Lisa Drake of the ABA Lake Charles Hurricanes professional basketball teams. Kazumi and Mona Lisa are two of the several woman owners of ABA teams. The league prides itself on its diversity of ownership with nearly 70% of the owners being African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians and women. It will be an interesting show. Also featured will be Mike Jones and Mike Casey of the Inglewood Cobras from the ABA Summer Pro League that runs through August 20th and is providing basketball fans with exciting action every day and evening. Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
