March 6, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) - Vermont Frost Heaves News Release

Vermont Frost Heaves season-ticket holders have through the end of business tomorrow, Friday, March 6, to reserve their accustomed seats for ABA All-Star Weekend, which will take place at the Barre Municipal Auditorium on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22.

All remaining tickets will go on general sale on Saturday, March 8, at the Frost Heaves' usual ticket pick-up spots: Allen Lumber in Barre; First In Fitness in Montpelier; and the Flynn Box Office at 153 Main Street in Burlington. Tickets may also be ordered over the phone or the Web by calling 802-86-FLYNN or going to flynntix.org.

In addition, the Frost Heaves will play a special intersectional game with the Atlanta Vision on Wednesday, March 19, also in Barre. An exclusive window for season-ticket holders for the Atlanta game also expires tomorrow, with the remainder available for general sale beginning Saturday through the Frost Heaves' usual ticketing channels.

Vermont, the No. 1 team in the ABA Power Rankings, plays the Boston Blizzard on Saturday, March 8, at 7:15 p.m. at Framingham (Mass.) State. The Frost Heaves are assured a bye into the ABA Final 8 Championship, which will take place in Quebec City from March 27 through 30-but there will be no home playoff games. The Atlanta game will be the last chance to see the Frost Heaves in Vermont this season.

Radio broadcasts of Vermont games may be heard on WSNO AM 1450 in Barre; WJOY AM 1230 in Burlington; and on the Web at vermontfrostheaves.com, while WLVB FM 93.9 in Morrisville carries a select Frost Heaves "Game of the Week."

The Frost Heaves Official Team Sponsors are the Vermont State Employees Credit Union and the Vermont Army National Guard.
