Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that Mexicali, Mexico will have a team in the professional basketball league when play begins in November. "Basketball is extremely popular in Mexico," said Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "and we are pleased to add another great Mexican city to the league. The team will be playing many of our SoCal teams and New Mexico teams and should draw extremely well there and at home too. Mr. Perada is also the Administration Director, Secretary of Infrastructure & Urban Development for Baja California State Government in Mexicali and former Purchasing Director for Baja California State Government.
