TAMPA, FL – United Soccer Leagues announced Wednesday the 2004 A-League All-League Teams as voted on by the league’s coaches and general managers.

The Montreal Impact saw the most players honored with four on the First Team, five overall. Midfielders Mauro Biello and Sandro Grande were honored along with defender Gabriel Gervais and goalkeeper Greg Sutton on the First Team. Defender Nevio Pizzolitto was selected for the Second Team.

The Portland Timbers striker tandem of Byron Alvarez and Alan Gordon were named to the First Team with midfielder Hugo Alcaraz-Cuellar on the Second Team.

Five of the 22 players honored were also on last year’s All-League lists with another five who have been in the past.
