Casper Ghosts News Release
The Casper Ghosts return to town Thursday night and start off the home stand with a terrific giveaway. It's Tom Browning Bobblehead night as the former major league pitcher and Casper native returns home as the pitching coach for the visiting Billings Mustangs. The Ghosts are helping Browning celebrate the 20th anniversary of his perfect game, one of only seventeen ever pitched in the major leagues. The first 1000 fans through the gates will receive this unique collectible. Gates open at 6:15pm so be sure to come early, you don't want to miss out on this great giveaway!
On Friday August 15th the Ghosts are planning another fireworks spooktakular! The Ghosts will be taking on the Billings Mustangs at 7:05pm and all who come can stay afterwards for the free fireworks show. Don't miss a minute of the great action on the field and in the sky.
On Saturday August 16th it's a full day of great Ghosts fun. Several Casper Ghosts players and Hobart will be signing autographs at the Sunrise Shopping Center from 10am till Noon. The Ghosts will be talking baseball with fans outside Behind the Glass on the main concourse. Merchandise including autographed baseballs will be for sale but the event is free to the public. Bring your camera, bring your friends, and bring all your Ghosts and Rockies gear you want signed because it's all free.
That evening the Casper Ghosts and the Wyoming Symphony have teamed up for a very special event at Mike Lansing Field. Pops in the Park is a special concert by the Wyoming Symphony that will take place on the field before the game between the Billings Mustangs and the Casper Ghosts. The concert starts at 5pm and combination tickets that include the concert and the game are only $15. Concert tickets may be purchased at Wind City Books, Simply Sheila, or the Symphony office, you can call the Wyoming Symphony at 307-266-1478 for more information. Admission is free for Casper Ghosts season ticket holders. The gates will open for the game at 6:15pm and you do not need to purchase concert tickets to join us for the ballgame that evening.
