Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm is proud to announce that former defensive end Shawn Lemon recently signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, after playing in the CFL the last three years.
During the 2012 season, Shawn totaled ten tackles, three for loss and two sacks in just three games while with the Storm. Lemon garnered 13 sacks and forced a CFL record eight fumbles in 2014 for the Calgary Stampeders.
Lemon played college football at the University of Akron. He earned All-Mid American Conference selection as a senior. Shawn ended his college career with 102 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, five fumble recoveries and six forced fumbles.
The Storm wish Shawn the best of luck and congratulate him on the next step in his career.
