Rayshaun Kizer and T.T. Toliver return for 2011
September 29, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Orlando Predators News Release
Two key pieces of the Orlando Predators 2010 season are back for another tour of duty in the jungle. WR T.T. Toliver and DB Rayshaun Kizer have signed on with the Predators along with three other players.
Kizer set a new team record for interceptions last season with 12, despite playing in just 14 games last season. His coming out party in Dallas sparked the team both to it's first win and announced to the league that the "Ball Hawk" was patrolling the skies in the Jungle.
T.T. Toliver is a fan favorite, but he's also a force to be reckoned with on the field. In the regular season finale, he tied a Predators record with six touchdown catches. Two weeks later, he topped that mark in the American Conference Championship Game with seven touchdown catches. Toliver is a weapon in the Predators offense that every team will have to respect in 2011.
Also returning this season are DB Dion Byrum and LB Johnnie Balous. Byrum is best remembered for his stunning interception off the foot of a Sharks receiver in the Divisional Playoff win.
The Predators also welcome a newcomer this week. WR Micah Rucker, a veteran of three NFL training camps (Kansas City, Pittsburgh, and New York Giants) signed on Monday. QB Nick Hill is familiar with Rucker as Hill's Southern Illinois Salukis are rivals with Rucker's Eastern Illinois Panthers.
