
Freedom Host First Game on New Turf Sunday

FLORENCE, KY - The new Field Turf is in and the boys of summer are ready to play at Champion Window Field.
This Sunday, May 17, the Florence Freedom will play its first game on the new surface in an exhibition game against the Evansville Otters at 1:05 p.m.
Fans can receive free admission with a canned food item which will be donated to St. Vincent DePaul. Admission is $5 for all other fans that do not bring a canned food item and seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Champion Window Field is located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky and the gates will open at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday. Concessions will be made available during the game. Visit FlorenceFreedom.com for 2009 game information or call the Freedom at (859) 594-HITS.
The Freedom are members of the Independent Frontier League and open their regular season at home on May 20 at 11:05 a.m. against the Midwest Sliders of Ypsilanti.
